Recent Thoughts

I've been on a journey over the last year to complete all of the mainline souls titles, I may update on that here when the motivation strikes me.

I have recently decided to re-read Homestuck after discovering the animated pilot. I was obsessed with it when I was younger, but never finished it. I stopped somewhere in act 5, partially due to it being on hiatus and partially due to me just losing interest. I started with watching "Let's Read Homestuck" by Voice Over Nexus, then continuing with the Unofficial Homestuck Collection. When it comes to media I enjoyed when I was younger, a lot of it doesn't hold up, but Homestuck pleasantly surprised me. I can't say that it brought me as much joy as it did when I was 12, but overall I thought it was pretty good. I was consistently entertained up to act 6, which was weak compared to the rest, but overall a good read. I would liken it to Adventure Time, which I re-watched a couple of years back, and was also surprised by how good it held up and didn't feel over childish or outdated.
